Guenter Jacob's Resilient Journey
Born in Germany, Guenter’s precision engineering skills were shaped by extraordinary circumstances during World War II. Surviving four years of imprisonment in Auschwitz thanks to his exceptional spring-making abilities, Guenter emigrated to Melbourne, Australia after the war. There, he continued his craft, making performance springs for the military, Ford Motor Company, and Mack Trucks.
From Jacob Spring Works to JSW Parts
In 1958, Jacob Spring Works was born, and Guenter, later known as the Ironman, laid the foundation for what would become our brand. By 1982, we had evolved into JSW Parts, designing and supplying leaf and coil springs for cars, trucks, buses, and 4x4 vehicles. Our reputation grew globally as a top-tier manufacturer and supplier of suspension parts.
Expanding to Meet Global Demand
As 4x4 vehicles became more popular, we expanded our offerings from coil and leaf springs to shocks and a full range of products for the world’s most renowned vehicle manufacturers. Today, Ironman 4x4 designs and develops products not only for consumers but also for militaries, NGOs, and armed-guard vehicles where strength and dependability are crucial.
